  Visiting coquitlam and chose this pub for some apps, drinks and to watch the jays! I will say it started on a bad note with a hostess who was a little bit rude to us and some of her coworkers. However, we had a fantastic server, the food was great and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for. Our drinks weren't a bad price either. It is a little busy but that makes it great for watching a game. We went back another night for dinner and it was quite good.

  Went on a Saturday night for a singles mixer. Nice venue. DJ played top 40 music(mostly from early 2000s. Seems to be a popular place on a Saturday night. Lots of people. Age range from early 20s-50s

  Went for a fundraiser, found the staff lacking and disorganized. Took 20 mins to order a drink. The servers avoided our table all together. We had to go to the bar to inform them we wanted either drinks or a meal. I just don't get it, you work in the hospitality then be hospitable! And yes your tips are based on how happy we were! And we weren't! Will not venture here for any reason again. And suggested the fundraiser find a new venue for the next one.

  I attended a fundraiser for a local animal rescue at the John B Pub, the staff were friendly, service was great and the food (veggie burger/fries) was very nicely made! Would definitely go back again for the drink specials from 2-6pm. There were TVs everywhere inside so it would be busy on game day, but the patio looked great! I'd recommend it based on what I've seen so far :-)

  Love this place! People and workers are down to earth and VERY WELCOMING. Food is amazing but be aware that the kitchen does close earlier than the Pub itself. The servers are always nice to chat with. The wings are amazing. Pricing is fair but we'll worth it for the service.
